Google is your friend:-)
Well, I Googled my problem with having put my camera SD card into the DVD slot in my iMac and guess what .... I'm not the only stupid person in the world to have done it and the solution is simple, there's even a 13 sec Youtube video on it:-) So I'm back in action and will have some photos to put up later in the day. Whew. I was thinking it would be a trip to 'hospital'.

Ha ha ha! At least it was an easy and inexpensive fix!
Gotta love You Tube! Get stuck with technology and you are bound to find a You Tube video to cover it.
I've only had my iMac a couple of months and it's been (and still is!) a big learning curve, but I'm loving the learning and the Mac:-)
