Ok, it started raining late last night (Sunday) and hasn't stopped. This is typical Spring weather, I know, but I'm getting a bit of cabin fever here. It's after 3 pm and I'm pretty sure the kids haven't even been outside to the toilet yet! I'm very sure they haven't been to the toilet inside:-) Most of the morning they spent on their couch in the 'sunroom' (today it's the rainroom as I've got a leak in a window and have so far used 5 towels to catch/soak up the water)

Beryl has got a beady eye on me!
This was my back lawn a couple of hours ago ... |

Thank goodness I mowed my lawns yesterday:-) |

No, I'm not a keen gardener in the best of weather! |
And this is the front garden/lawn, more proof of my non-gardening status, lol!
The kids have only recently left their couch and come into the lounge room with me where I've got the gas heater going. At least it's not cold, but when the weather is like this outside you gotta have a heater on!
It's hard to believe that only two days ago we were down the beach doing this (more beach photos stolen from Fatima's blog!) ....

We have had a bone dry week - I feel for you, fall in Vermont is rainy and near...
I almost feel bad for the beautiful weekend we've had now! Soon the dogs are going to need a boat to go out in at that rate!
As soon as I posted this it stopped raining:-) Beryl still hasn't ventured outside though, lol. I'm looking forward to Summer for LOTS of reasons, one of them is seeing if Beryl can swim!
It is the same here! We have had non-stop rain and our property is flooded. It is not typical weather here in Australia either, I heard NZ got hit hard too!
Oh no, what's happened to Rex's pile of dirt? With the earthquake in the South Island last week and now the flooding in the North Island today I don't think NZ is the best place to come for the holiday of a lifetime right now!
We've had one of our driest winters ever here in West Aus. In fact i can count how many days it's rained for the whole year on one hand. Over east Victoria is having massive floods. mmm can't tell me our climate is a bit freaky. Stay dry you lot and let me know if you need some floaties or water-wings sent over.
Cheers Spiffo & Cami
Barbie would love to run in that big puddle!!! Spiffo is from my side of the country, drought conditions here. Farmers are going to have pitiful crops. And yet it's flooding in Victoria and I hear that the Northern Territory is even copping it!
Oh my....that is quite a bit of rain! Hope the sun comes out again soon. =) Lovely beach photos! Hope you and the fur kids stay dry and we will keep our fingers and paws crossed for better weather.
Those beach pictures are beautiful! But I suppose that if the rain keeps up, you'll have a beach of your own!
We just gave you an award! Stop by to pick it up! http://rescuek9.blogspot.com/2010/09/doggie-bloggie-award.html
LOL.....Rex is now digging a pile of mud and loving it!!! and still more rain to come. :-(
Sounds like Frankie in my so called veggie garden, lol! Bummer, and I guess we'll get more rain in a few days too then:-(
I would consider it a failure if my obituary said "She kept a nice yard." I'm not a gardener either! :-)
Great beach photos. Wish had some sandy beaches close by. At least we have a lake.
