Something a Little Different

Part of where I walk the dogs in the park has been turned into a fairly small, secluded garden by the council.  I hadn't been in there for a few weeks and thought I'd begin our walk today by going through it and look what I saw ...
A treasure trove of Azaleas in full bloom:-)
Lots of them!
I managed to get Frankie in one photo
Spring has to be on the way!
Then we wandered across the playing fields and down to part of the river where Beryl hadn't been before
But I think she approved!
We carried on and did our normal walk through the park and down along the road to where we go down to the river again and on the way back we met a lady with a couple of cute dogs who soon became friends with Frankie and Beryl
Frankie with Spot and Jay
Jay, Spot, Frankie and Beryl

I think Frankie enjoyed running around with dogs he could keep up with!
Jay thought Frankie was lots of fun!
Beryl thought Spot was cute - he's 15 years old, can you believe it!!
Are you really that old, Spot?
Frankie still likes to know where Beryl is:-)
She's fascinated by Spot.
And he thinks she's pretty hot!!
But they decided they'd all play together
Frankie is the magnet as usual!
I think Beryl enjoyed playing with some non-greyhounds too:-)

haha I always worry about little old dogs around my two louts... your puppies seem suitably respectful!

What a fun day in the park for everybody! And yes, I can believe Spot is fifteen! lol That park is absolutely gorgeous, and I admit to a bit of envy as you get ready to enjoy Spring!

Beryl is smitten! I wonder if she saw some kind of familiarity. If she's b/w, maybe her litter mates and parents were. I had a b/w grey that loved other b/w dogs.
Beryl's black bits are nice and shiny. I'm having hair envy.

The anti-greys are beautiful, but that Beryl, be still my beating heart. She is absolutely gorgeous.
