on her bum!! |
We've got a GAP Greyhound walk tomorrow, I've even taken the day off so we can go! But I figured 12 days work in a row was enough:-) The forecast is bad so we will have our fingers and paws crossed that it doesn't rain in the afternoon. We had a walk in the misty rain this evening and it was relatively pleasant, not cold at all. Beryl still looked at me like I was crazy when I opened the car door for her to get out at the park though:-)
We have some exciting news about next weekend ... Beryl and I are going to the inaugural Greyt Greyhound Gathering which is being held in Hamilton, a city about 6 hours north of where we live. There are lots of things organised for us to do and it will be wonderful to meet up with other Greyhounds and their people. Poor Frankie has to go to kennels for the weekend, which reminds me, I haven't booked him in yet! He spent a week there this time last year and didn't want to come home, lol! He had an awesome time, but that was before he had his big sister for company here. He'll be fine though and will be too tired to miss us!
So I hope to have lots of videos and photos to show off next week .... if I get time to do any blogging!
And it's time for another Saturday Blog Hop. Head on over to Life With Dogs who co-host the Hop and check out the guidelines. Have a great weekend:-)

Loving the heart:)
What a shame Frankie can't go. Don't they allow other dogs? Sure you will have a fab time.
How exciting! I know you've wanted something like that to attend and now you have one! I hope you have a great time and take tons of pictures!
I still envy you getting to go on those GAP walks!
Happy Blog Hopping!
Hugs,
I've been GAP slack. I need to go to a walk soon. I hope that you post photos.
Hi! Found you through the hop, so glad to meet you! Dogs with hearts on them are marked because they're extra-special, don't you think?
Hi Beryl,
Thanks for coming to visit me and leaving a comment on my blog! I love making new friends and my humans have a soft sport for greyhounds!! :-) I think it is SO cool that your human does training with you (LOVE the title of your blog) - not like lots of people who just use the breed of their dog as an excuse! :-)
Anyway, I hope we can visit each other and keep up with each other's adventures. I always love visiting my blog friends in NZ coz I'm still really homesick and it's so lovely seeing your beautiful pictures of "home"!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Too cute! My Maggie wears her heart on her side. :) She is my heart dog in more than one way.
Stopping by the blog hop... that heart is so cute! :)
Very cute. Hope the walk went well,so fun to go walk with a group of dogs.
Heart on ya' bum!...lol...Beryl is extra special!
Enjoy the Greyhound Gathering you two :-)
Its funny to see the shapes created in their fur... or lack thereof. I had a foster greyhound, white and black, that has a Texas longhorn on his back. It was so cool!
