Oh no! I am just catching up on blogs! So sorry to hear about the tail loss. I think you were smart to go ahead and mostly dock it though. I think too many folks just take off a few inches and then the dog does it again and has few more inches removed. Best to just get it over with if you have to do surgery. At least it will never be a problem again. I know you'll miss that white, flashy tip though. :-(
I think she is realizing the potential that this new tail has in stall for her. I'm sure more boy dogs will be on her... *ahem*, tail now with her spunky new do!

awwww. She is trying to tell you that her tail bandage is meant to be yellow to match her collar :P
just tell everyone she is Greyhound x Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog ;)
Blimey that is short. Still doesn't take away from how beautiful Beryl is.
Oh, she's going to have such a cute little nubbin! Don't worry, when the bandage comes off, it's going to look cute once you get used to it.
Bunny things you need to find a green collar for her to wear so that it matches the bandage, though!
Oh no! Oh well, at least it won't hurt anymore!
Gotta wonder what dogs think of going into the vet & coming out with parts missing. Testicles, teeth, tails, uterus.... LOL
Ahh, she is cute. I think I detect a little smile on her face.
