Her tail has healed up beautifully! We had a foster once who'd been a really good racer and was retired when his tail was broken by getting it closed in a door. He had to have his amputated, too. I did notice that he had to relearn how to balance to do a few things, but for the most part, he did okay. Has Beryl had to relearn anything?

of course. the ghost tail is still there. so what do we call it if it's more than a nubbin but not quite a tail?
